Another trek to the woods.:fisher:

Had a little light rain over night, but according the the 12 hour forecast it looked like about noon before the next good chance for rain was due, so bundled up and headed for the woods. Did remember to change batteries in the LTD, but did forget the camera. And this has nothing to do with "old guys" Mud. Over all, not an abundance of targets this morning, but did manage a 53d Rosie, a sterling ring and 3 wheat cents, among a few other curios. The curled up silver looking piece id'ed in the silver dime range, but haven't tested it yet. Found the dollar bill just laying there in a patch of ivy. The sterling ring came from the same patch. The dime came from behind a big oak just off of a trail. It looks like the 3 Merry Widows now have a little competition. It is good to see a few other nice finds being posted. Any of you yanks are welcome to come down for a good southern woods hunt. HH jim tn

I was watching the radar early and it did not look at all favorable for you today...good to see you dont let a little weather stop you like it does us!

It looked like I had a window from 6a to noon. And, the forecast nailed it. 12p it started raining and steady ever since. Suppose to end tonight and mostly sunny tomorrow with temps into the low 50's. It will be a little gooey tomorrow, but whats a few gobs of mud. Well, un-less I track it into the house and then my name becomes yours. Peace! HH jim tn

Jim. I am assuming you used the super duper secret settings again Just Kidding, I got my fix last week drove 3 and half hours to Delaware to metal detect on the beach to get rid of the withdraw symptoms of not metal detecting. Its great to see someone that has a great spot to detect .that keeps on producing . Keep up the good work. Ezra.

One of thses days about 50 of us are going to show up on your door step LOL........ Is it a big woods ....

I am thinking maybe a 100 acres +. It is kind of split up with a couple of maintenance roads going around the woods and down the middle. It will handle 50 of you yanks. Maybe only 25 of us southern boys, though. HH jim tn

.....................................

You get 25 Rebs together at once and theres either gonna be a bar-b-que or a fishing tournament break out!
You jam 50 city Yankees in a 100 acre park and half of them would get lost, the other half will get hurt!
Mud

Well, my thought was one Reb to hold a Yanks hand in each hand so they wouldn't get lost or hurt. Then after the hunt was over we'ed all partake of some possum bar-b-que and muddy Mississippi baked over coals carp, all the while sippin some good Tn moonshine. I've hosed off the Mason jars I've found just for such an occasion. Now ya all come on down, ya hear. HH jim tn
