Hi
On Thursday I went to mainland Europe for the day. I got my gold and silver fix again which just about paid for the trip.
I also got a lot of coins and WW2 ammunition, including a bandolier pouch with the material still intact and two live 5 round clips of .303 bullets. All ammunition had to be disposed of as I am not really in the right frame of mind to be slammed up for smuggling live ammunition across national borders.

The trip home was eventfull as the local fishermen at Calais were protesting about something or another and the ferries were not running. I tried a few other routes but everthing was gridlocked so I returned to the docks resigned to sleeping in the car overnight. Fortunately the blockade was lifted just as I arrived back and I was only an hour or so later getting home than I had planned although some poor souls were delayed by almost a full day.
Regards
Fred
