I wish I was retired so I could hunt this park evey day but the coins are getting harder to find in this small little park. Still I did manage two barbers 1897O and 1900.

Great finds!

Can you get a close up of that 1897-O?? That's a key date- I found one in G and it's currently worth about $70. Yours looks like it's much better than that.

Continued success!

Jeff

I guess He giveth to you and withholdeth from me. I sure wish I knew what your trick is cause I sure ain't gettin it. I find an occasional silver as does my friend who has an Explorer too (I find way more silver and copper than even he) but I doubt he has more than 20 silvers in the years he's been using his Explorer as well.

Nice Looking Tribe that you found there. That sure is a great looking haul from your Park. I wish I had a Park like that still that was close by but I would have to drive over 100 miles just to even come across something like that (if I was lucky enough to). The Dimes look very nice also and that Ring sure looks old. Hope there is a few more nice finds like that in the Park you are detecting and Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

If the Liberty is fully showing but a few letters are weak, then that makes it an F-12 which books in my 2006 Red Book at $275.00. Now if the Liberty is evenly plain which means that you can read it without any problems, then it is an VF-20 which brings it up to $350.00. If you can see the Liberty and the Headband Edges are distinct, then that will put it at an EF-40 which brings that up to $450.00. So, as you can tell, you found yourself a really good one there and Congrat's. Mintage of this Dime is 666,000. Just remember not to clean it with any type of Silver Cleaner. Just rinse it off under the faucet and if you have a very soft toothbrush, lightly brush the surface of the coin to get rid of the dirt that is in the lettering. I do this to my Silver and if you do it right, it won't leave any scratches. Just make sure you are holding the coin under running water and get the toothbrush wet before you do this. Good Luck and HH.

MAN that's NICE.....That Ring looks really nice too, I damn near pee my pants when I dig a merc...can't imagine a day like that...

 Nice finds! the ring appears to be an antique. Is it a emerald? I would hunt that park as often as time would permit. Happy Hunting Grounds,
Savage.
