Yep, this is going on all over the country.
I think it is mostly due to the warm fuzzy bs that the greenies are promoting. Everything we have is either grown or mined. They just won't admit it.
The anti-mining groups and individuals are hipocrites. I don't see them giving up everything they own that is mined, do you? If they did they would be living in caves and walking or using horses for transportation.
I don't know how to educate people soooooo stupid!

Yes, there is some talk of that. I sure hope not. I just bought a 4 wheeler. I'm sure getting tired of all the government BS started by tree huggers, bunny lovers and such. Another scenario may be they want us off our public land because, just maybe it was used as collateral on our national debt or other loans. Since this country is bankrupt, they've got to kick us off of it so we won't bitch when it's turned over to some other country or private owners. Something to think about.
