Senators William B. Spong of Virginia and Hiram Fong of Hawaii sponsored a bill recently recommending the mass ringing of church bells to welcome the arrival from Hong Kong, of the United States table tennis team after it's tour of China.
The bill failed to pass, cheating the Senate out of passing the Spong-Fong Hong Kong Ping-Pong Ding-Dong Bell bill.
Okay, here's anudder one or is that two?
Two Mexican detectives were investigating the murder of a man name Juan Gonzalez. " How was he killed?" another detective asked. "He was killed with a golf gun," answered the other detective.
"A golf gun?" "What is a golf gun?" asked the second detective.
"I really don't know," the first detective admitted, " but it sure made a fine hole in Juan." Get it? HOLE IN JUAN!
