Hi everybody, River and I took our detecting to the ocean this weekend and found something strange. We think it might be part of an airplane, or shipwreck. Anybody recognize this thing? Here’s the video and a picture.

Nothing to compare size in the pic, were you able to pull it out? I will send pic to my son who is mechanic for major name airline.....

It was huge, couldn’t even get it excavated it was so big. That piece that’s exposed measures about 25” x 15”
 
Passing that along....
 
Its not looking like anything he is familiar with. Will show a couple of his buddies when he goes back to work tomorrow night (SeaTac).

If it was aeronautical, it would be aluminum ( or alloy )........not steel, I would think. Look's steel to me?
