any clues - looks like it is copper or brass - hard like brass

If it's old, it might be worth a lot of quarters!
I'd think the narrowed portion is for lashing it to a handle or spear shaft.
Cool Find!!! Any history of Native Americans in the area you found it?

Are both edges rounded like the one in the foreground? If so it probably isn't and Indian artifact especially brass. Indian spear and arrow points would likely have sharpened edges and a different hafting area. Maybe a letter opener or more likely possibly a tool used in fishing or fishing net repair.Does it look like it was once symetrical with the second point broken off?

had when we were kids. They were not a kids toy but you threw them at targets. They were balanced so they stuck rather easily
