Actually, I was somewhat calmer than I had anticipated. Tim isn't much of a football fan, yet he was more vocal than I was. I did my share of ranting and raving, eye rolling, head shaking, breath holding, sitting on the edge of my seat and digging my fingernails into the arm of my chair, BUT, handled it all in stride. Spent a lot of time texting on my phone and posting/replying on Facebook with friends who were also in disbelief. Bama played so poorly that I think most of us were too stunned to be overly vocal & active. It was a victory, but still a sad day and poor excuse for a Tide performance. I've got some friends who said, "Look at it this way; we played horribly! Our worst performance of the year! It was an embarrassment! BUT!!!!! Even at our very worst, we beat Auburn, who played their very BEST game of the year!" That's enough to make me smile... just a little. ;-) One of my friends is an Auburn fan and attends all of their games. She sent me a message on Facebook tonight saying that our tiny little section of fans weren't very loud when they did the Rammer Jammer chant at the end. If I'd been them, I think I woulda kept my mouth SHUT!!!! It sure wasn't a Rammer Jammer victory to chant about!!!!
