Holy smokes Lisa I bet you don't have any fingernails left! What a nail biter! :starwars:
Glad Bama won! :clapping::super::thumbup:

Yeah, I'm here, but not necessarily proud to be wearing crimson and white tonight. We won, but I don't know how. Alabama didn't even show up in Auburn! They tried to play that game while napping in Tuscaloosa. PITIFUL!!!! SICKENING!!!! They sure didn't look like the #2 team in the country, that's for sure. I believe they thought this game was gonna be a cake walk and that all they had to do was show up. They got their cage rattled right from the very get-go and just almost didn't recover enough to pull it out. I think they were stunned and it almost cost them the game. I loathe Auburn - entirely, but my hat is off to them. They fought hard and showed up the sleeping Bama team. If Alabama doesn't receive this little wake up call and do something about it, the Gators will take full advantage and stomp their butts in the ground next week.

I ain't proud of them, but a win is a win and we'll take it. So, ROLL TIDE!!!! It's 365 more days that we can rub it in Auburn's face... and I surly WILL. I think I could still use some oxygen in order to breathe normally again, and possibly a pace maker to get my heart back in rhythm, but I will recover! And will hopefully be able to do the Rammer Jammer chant next week for the Gators!

see you stomping around and throwing things and yelling at your team the whole game! :)

Actually, I was somewhat calmer than I had anticipated. Tim isn't much of a football fan, yet he was more vocal than I was. I did my share of ranting and raving, eye rolling, head shaking, breath holding, sitting on the edge of my seat and digging my fingernails into the arm of my chair, BUT, handled it all in stride. Spent a lot of time texting on my phone and posting/replying on Facebook with friends who were also in disbelief. Bama played so poorly that I think most of us were too stunned to be overly vocal & active. It was a victory, but still a sad day and poor excuse for a Tide performance. I've got some friends who said, "Look at it this way; we played horribly! Our worst performance of the year! It was an embarrassment! BUT!!!!! Even at our very worst, we beat Auburn, who played their very BEST game of the year!" That's enough to make me smile... just a little. ;-) One of my friends is an Auburn fan and attends all of their games. She sent me a message on Facebook tonight saying that our tiny little section of fans weren't very loud when they did the Rammer Jammer chant at the end. If I'd been them, I think I woulda kept my mouth SHUT!!!! It sure wasn't a Rammer Jammer victory to chant about!!!!

If that was the worst of the year, they won't have a game that is worse than that one! :)

It was most definitely their WORST game of the year!!! People are still in disbelief around here. They were AWFUL!!!! I don't know how in the world we pulled it out in the end. I hope it embarrassed them so bad that they will come out next Saturday ready to rip Florida's heads off... and will accomplish just that!
