Here's a fun one. Whatever this/these are, is a mystery to me. My brother found these in the wet beach sands of NC last year.
Originally, they were all one piece, nowdays, they're three seperate pieces. Bro's guess was they were used for money/bartering in days gone by. I don't think so as they ring in at about a 400 on my Sovereign, no or little silver content.
The back side has a crosshatch on them, looking like a coarse cloth pattern. Sorry about the bright white reflection on the magnifying glass, it's the best I can do without a macro setting. <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="
