Don't think so unless they were holdovers. Site saw its busiest years from the late 1800's until about the 1930's.

They are tent rope tensioners, but post Civil War… if you look closely, there should be a number on them indicating the size.
I found three of them around an old house a few years ago.
They are old, but not Civil War era… 1880’s or after.
Nice finds…. And yes… they do sound good!!
