Any new X-Terra coils on the Horizon??/

I've been researching the x-terra coil options including the Coiltek's but I'm looking for a coil that's not being produced. What I'm looking for is a LF or MF coil that is also a Double D AND waterproof in a 6" or 9". I have the standard 7kHz concentric & the 3kHz concentric but would like a waterproof DD for highly mineralized, trashy areas & to also use it in stream beds. I don't feel I have a use for a HF coil. Will any new coils be coming out in the near future???

I'd have to say that I doubt it. I certainly have no inside information, but it took years to get the additional coils from Coiltek, so I really don't believe that ther is anything "new" comming. I wish as you do that I could say differently, but I live in realville.

And purely speculation on my part, but I think that being granted license to produce V-flex SmartCoils has opened the door for Coiltek to produce FBS2 coils, in which case that will likely be their area of focus.

I'd like one for gold
Depending on target size, depth, and general conditions, there are 5 HF coils to choose from that could be suitable. So I think it's covered.

Thanks for the update.....in that case I'll end up getting the 10.5' DD 7.5kHz coil. I thought about the Coiltek 15" 3kHz all terrain but it may be to large for my needs-mding in stubble, weedy, wooded areas.

In corn stubble and brush I prefer the 10.5" because it's lighter, and it gets hung up less. Also, around old foundations where the trash density can be high, the big coil can't separate as well as is often needed.
