Would be great if someone local ish with experience i could tag along with on a hunt or two?

can anyone help, i feel i am wandering around in the dark, and i love doing this , every time i come back i cant wait to go back out....

yours frustratingly.......... Peter

If you can't find anyone to hunt with or a local club try getting on you tube there are more than a few x-70 videos. That way you can learn setup and simple hunting. Also try building a test garden, bury a few different coins and some silver and learn the tones, start with two tones, think simple.Good luck hope you do well

Gday from australia,

I joined a club a year ago and have made lots of friends and learned HEAPS...I would go that way.
Good luck
