It's quite a few years old but still a decent machine if you can buy it right. It sold new for $549.00 retail. I believe John owned one at one time and can probably give you some personal insight on it.

It's a great coin finder! I bought it after using a $99.00 Radio shack TR machine. I got over 5 x the amount of coins using the 500. It was sooooooooo nice to use some discrimination that worked! If it's the GTAX 500, you get about 20% extra depth then the regular GTA 500 ULTRA.
