Any prospectors here?

Just wondering how and what you are finding with your 705s. I still plan to add the 6-inch DD HF coil. In small washes and creek beds, the 9-inch coil is a little clumsy.

I do some at my up at my moms place up near mt raineer WA. Sluice and pan. Have not got much fine tuning on it in prospecting mode yet but know its a good idea to test with some small lead shot and see if you can retrieve it. I am going to get a 6 inch hf soon to go after the small stuff cause that's all we got on this side of the moutain I hear. Everyone hydraulic mined down around these parts. Flecks and specks

Yes Bill I am. Or at least I try. I have not had the detector out prospecting yet but hopefully this weekend. A few of us are getting together for a fishing, prospecting, metal detecting adventure for the long weekend. I have a couple pieces of prospecting equipment and expanding ;)

i do quite a bit here in the mountain's of Montana.I'm using a 10.5 dd hf coil now but just picked up the 15 inch coiltek waiting to try it in my favorite gold spot this weekend. Thus far the 705 has paid for itself and the coiltek coil with the gold that i have found with it .
