Wanted to give the Smart a try, had a Gold. Have a lot of cornfields to detect once corn is cut. Question for you what happen to dealer you had in Canada?

I don't think he ever had any stock. Years ago I remember contacting him, he would have had to bring them in. At the price he was asking for them it was cheaper to order direct from DeepTech overseas or even from the US distributor at the time. Think he was a wannabe dealer? Think AMCJ talked to him a few times..............
The Canadians tend to gravitate to Minelabs, Garretts and Whites machines. On the Canadian forum, I tend to expose them to detectors they haven't even considered. Many, like a handful of guys now have taken some interest and ventured into buying some overseas machines. Canada does not even come close to having a population of metal detectors owners as in the US so even finding used ones can be a problem. Just look at the handful of new or used metal detectors being sold on ebay Canada, pretty bleak. I have to resort to buying from the US market base. Kind of also tells you, not much of an incentive to start a dealership here.

If I had the cash for start up I'd be a dealer in a heart beat Deeptech just keeps getting better and better and I do have a friend that is more than capable of doing the warranty end also but as they say you got have money to make money LOL!
