Any wetsuit recommendations?

Does anyone use a wetsuit when detecting? If so, requesting some help here finding one that would be useful detecting in the surf or maybe waist deep. The water isn't real cold here in Virginia, but like to try this through the winter. Right now the temps are about 55 degrees. Normally I strap my jeans down to my dive boots and tough it out.

I personally like the Henderson dive suit. Ive got a couple that i use as the weather changes. I prefer the long sleeve shorties that go down to the knees. MOST of those zip in the front so on and off in seconds. The thicker they are the less they obsorb so they dry faster...... but a 7MM can be stiff to just walk around in. Also a long sleeve shirt like body glove makes getting your arms out easier....... cause those babies can be tough to get off. I use a 3MM as well and have a vest i can add to keep the chest warm. For your purpose........ you sure you wouldnt rather have something like fly fisher waders? You stay dry and can layer.

Hi Dew. Thanks for the advice! The waders are a good idea and I started looking around at these. Some are rather bulky; I'm looking for some that can be strapped down to my ankles/legs/waist, etc. Mike
