Anybody still using the XT-70?

I still have mine, 8 years later and I've gone through a number of other machines that got sold off - because they couldn't compete in my dirt against the 70. With a 10.5 DD coil this
has been a great machine. I haven't found a lot of good stuff, but if it's there I have confidence it will show it to me.

I still use mine. I haven’t got to detect much this year as I have had a lot going on. But I have mine a a bunch of coils to go along with it.

Yeah, I actually wore out my 10.5 DD coil and had to order another. I must of gotten lucky with this machine and got one made on a really good day. I've compared it to another XT-70 and to a 705 and it was a better machine than either one. That is the principle reason I still have it. I'm looking at picking up another machine to go with it, but this machine will continue to get used until it dies or becomes unrepairable.

I have owned one 50 several 70’s and a couple 705’s. I like the older 70’s the best. The older the serial number the better they seem to detect to me.

Still use mine also. Have the 705 and 70 set up with different coils. I let the grandkids or friends use the 30 if and when they wish to join me in a hunt. HH

Yep, mine is one of the older serial numbers and I'll use it till it wears out.

I ought one on the bay once with a older serial number than the one I had. So glad sold the one I had and kept the one I got on the auction sight. They are just hard to beat.

I still have mine and wish I could afford to buy another one and some day I hope to get another so I don’t have to keep changing coils .

I wish I could afford it , but can’t. I like the one I have.
