Anybody using the New Gold Hound for Relic Hunting

I been Re-check my Hunt Hard Relic Sites With Gold Hound That Hunt with Vista -X. The Biggest Difference Gold Hound Vs Vista X , Gold Hound is Super Sen on Super Small Deeper Object in Size , such small lead, silver and "Hits with Hard Load Audio" on small deep targets The higher 30Feq work better and more stable in Super Hot Soils and still set higher setting in Gain. Threshold . If you Relic Hunting Bad Soil the Hound will have slight edge over Vista-X, lastly with Vista-X seem be better in High Iron area With Octagon Coils , The only thing about Gold Hound 30Khz it hits super hard very small modern trash such foil, Pull Tab Heads and other modern trash where Vista-X you Alt Disc have to knock such modern trash Hope find this info useful.

Thanks Chuck for that info,I hunt a lot of civil war campsites here in Kentucky, most the soil here is average, but you still have to deal
With the nails,looking to getting
a Deeptech,probably need to go
With the Vista X,like you said it might be better in the iron than
The Gold Hound

Rick, I have heard a couple of other reports on the Gold Hound and, if all goes well, I hope to have one by our June WTHO in Nevada for Gold Nugget Hunting. For everything else I have hunted where I encounter a lot of higher mineralized ground as well as dense amounts of Iron Nails and other ferrous debris, I found the Vista X to work quite well, especially with the 5.7 DD coil in amongst the heavy trash and in and around brush and building rubble. Of all the more modern and currently-made detectors, the Vista X is one of the best performers I've used.

Monte - my feelings, as well. The analog sounds paint a picture of what in the ground.
