Anyone done this?

Was looking into this ENGLAND METAL DETECTING ADVENTURE. Wanted to know if anyone out there has done this, and if they had any feedback about it.

I have been on this tour three times. It is run by a former 'Mudlarker' (Thames river searcher). The current lodging is in a small hotel with both breakfast and dinner served. Lunch you select at the local Tesco to take into the field. Roy, the tour owner, is friendly and knowledgeable and stays with the group the entire day, just in case. He has good fields in the Norfolk region that have produced Roman, Viking/Saxon, Medieval and later stuff. I have been on the Jimmy Sierra tours and another tour from Colchester. This one is my favorite. I highly recommend it.

Be prepared for many days of 8 hour detecting!

Electrical Converter for England (for Battery charger if you use rechargables) is key.

Finding coins that are 2000 years old is truly an experience. Over there, if it isn't 300+ years old, they don't care about it!

Roy is a great host.

If I could afford to go back, I would.
