Anyone ever drowned a TRX?

I wore mine on my belt and waded waist deep water(fresh) for 2 hrs. When I went to use it in my float basket it went crazy. I took it home took it apart and sure enough it was full of water. I dried all of the components hosed them down with CDC and the next day put it all back together and it works great as always. In my opinion it is the best out there.

Interesting. There's a bit of confusion as to what kind of water the trx can take. I hear people say it's good for up to 10 feet, but clearly it isn't. I think the earlier models are just water resistant, the later models are water proof. Wish Whites would have been more clear about the situation.

We've heard of a few early units that leaked. As always we will honor our warranty. I've used mine in the water a lot, it's a newer one and hasn't leaked a drop. Can't say the same for my waders....

I tried pming you with some questions about repairing or replacing the unit in question. How do I proceed with a repair, replace request?
