anyone have a 1350 or 1500 garrett?:garrett:

I don't sorry, go to garrett forum I'm sure they can help you out.

I've owned several Garrett machines over the years and the last one was the 1350. It's a good machine but too heavy and lacked the numerical readout found on other machines such as the White's and the Minelab's. I've now owned two Minelab X-terra's since owning the 1350 and absolutely love them! They're light, accurate, and very easy to use. My latest X-terra is the 505 and it's an awesome machine. Once you learn what the Minelab's are willing to tell you, you'll enjoy your hunts more than you've ever done before and you'll do it without experiencing a sore arm! As far as I'm concerned, there simply isn't a machine out there better than a Minelab and I've owned every major brand manufactured today and a few that aren't anymore.

i have the 1500, and it is a fine machine. i was having trouble with super trashy areas, and got a scorcher 4.5'' coil, and it quieted down most of the noise, and is a coin magnet. it doesn't take long to really appreciate the imaging feature, and it works as advertised.
