Anyone here from the Carolinas ?

I would like to hear from some folks in the Carolinas about old coin finds or the lack of them. Because of a long warm season and seldom
cold enough in the winter to cause ground freezing or frost lift, coins go very deep, very quick. I would like to know how deep you have unexpectedly turned up a hundred + year old coin in the past few years. I never find any that are shallow enough to get a near accurate ID on. My finds are usually very deep in the all metal mode in relatively trash free areas and are few and far between. Any input?
