Anyone know how the disc. works on the ATX??

If it's similar to the Infinium, it's not in the same calibrated sequence as a VLF. I never used the discrimination on the Infinium to knock out targets, only to help with stability issues and to help ID a target as metal, using the iron check by turning the disc knob clockwise all the way. It looks like the ATX has a push button for iron check, so the discrimination on the ATX may seldom be used, except maybe for extreme conditions to help with stability. Hope this helps.....
