I jist looked at yer profile Tom and that pic of the cactus smacked me twixt the eyes like a deja vu 2x4. Back in the early 80's my cousin and i were in an az. desert and we took a pic together in front of what i believe is that exact cactus in yer pic.
I sure would love to go back there and :detecting: for some nuggets and meteorites. Not to mention catch me some critters that slither and crawl.
I was lookin for snakes and or tarntulas that day but found nothin alive but a jack rabbit. I did however find a realy cool petrified antler.

I was singin it my head jist a few days ago. When i was about 4 er 5 my mother had an album by the SONS O' THE PIONEERS and i used to listen to that very song over and over and over. She would catch me and yell at me to stop before i scratched her record. I used to wear her Eddy Arnold and Freddy Fender records out too. :biggrin:

Needless to say Vern this link is in my favorites :thumbup:
