Anyone on in here use a Safari and a T2?

I posted this in the teknetics forum as well. If you do, can you tell me what the differences are and what you like or dislike about them?

My best hunting bud just bought a new T2 and is still trying to figure it out. I went behind him with my Safari and found a coin and a broach that he missed, but that could just be inexperience. Other wise I haven't really paid too much attention to his T2. Onus
 
Thanks Onus. Inexperience could have been the cause as suggested. I would be interested in hearing more once he learns it better.
