Anyone overrun with cabbage worm moths this year like we are ? :ranting:

No cabbage worms here, but I'll tell you what. Them lawn grubs are starting to scare me around here. I pull up at least two or three with each Leschefull of dirt. Look like good fish bait.
 
cabbage worms are easy to get rid of. Just dust the cabbages/brocali/califlower with sevin or rotonone (rotonone is a powder from an african tree root, and is a natural pesticide) it prevents digestion and the insect starves to death with a full stomach in a couple days. Follow directions on container.
 
We use green Dawn Dish soap here in Texas for just about all garden bugs. It can be use in a water hose sprayer.

Dawn also the stuff for Yellowjackets too. 2 or 3 long Spurts in a glass then fill water. That hit the nest with the soapy water. The wasps will drop Died. This time of I keep a Water Blaster in the truck just for wasp.
