Massive solar flare to hit after noon if you're out and about the abnormal emi you're experiencing. Is the result of a good hit of radiation!!! You're machine and you're cell also gps aren't broken! Hahahhahahhahahhah. OK I expecting rain here but hey let me know how the fisher does HH c t

...been watching that incoming CME too! I went out early this am to try it out...no problems, in fact, I had a pretty huge clad morning...so they say its hitting us tomorrow? I know there were 3 inbound...spaceweather.com is usually one of my first sites to visit everyday..

Good catch!! I'm leaving work early today to go hunting this afternoon but might make it a point tomorrow also just to see if there's any extra chatter on the F70. Back in my ham radio days I saw it make a significant difference on some of the bands when there were extra sun spots in the 11 year cycle, CMEs, etc., and I bet you're right about the Fishers being a little more talkative too!

Mud, I dig that cosmic type stuff too (no pun intended)!

Yeah right? It just might light up the gold signals or sumpthin'.....I'm gonna hit it hard and fast all weekend just to see...scoped out some pretty killer locations on the way home this am...hitting them pre-dawn...if theres any abnormal chatter, drop sens, go neg on the thresh and swing away! A guy has to keep an eye on the weather, and that includes Spaceweather!:beers:

I remember those radio days as well. But boy, sometimes you could get some good skip as well on the SSB. lol

Yup, Yazoo and Siltronics were my favorite past times back in the day. The VFO and frequency counter were very handy tools as long as uncle Charlie didn't catch you with them
