Anyone reconize this button?

Looks like you're not the only one to find one of these... (unless you're name is Jim from PA) Happen to run across this post from '94. No pic but interesting all the same.

Do you have a '73 mach I? That is one of my dream cars :)

Yep own a 73' mach 1 351c 4bbl (1970 high compression heads) in need of alot of work, but I would like a 71' BOSS 351 or a 69' mach 1. JimPA was me also was hoping someone new might reconize it.

Thanks,
Jim

It's funny... I like to do searches for stuff that people post questions about. (something to do at 1am when I can't sleep  ) Many times, I've been able to come up with some obscure stuff. I remember one guy posting a pick of a cameo. I was able to find the EXACT same one for sale through a collectible site. When the forum post came up with your description, I thought it was a little too coincidental :)

Interesting find though. Makes it even more special when you CAN'T find any info on it :) Makes you wonder...

Let me know if you find out what it is

That's a nice car ya got. I can remember seeing one, brand new, way back when. Man, I drooled all over that car

HAHA thanks Joe. Ya, my best guess its a Knights of the Templar button, the guy who owned the place was rumored to be a Mason in the 1700's. As for the car im trying to bring it back to life it was a high option car, front power disc brakes, A/C, deluxe interior, Boss guage package, Mach 1, Mag wheels. IM hoping to make it a 450+hp Cleveland powered street car. The power the Clevelands can make naturally aspirated is crazy. Guy here runs a 550hp Cleveland in his 70'. They were made for all out racing with massive intake ports which is great for racing but the power or the bottom end isnt too good till u start reaching racing RPM's so alot of guys stuff the ports and close them off some but im going to run a high stall on it and keep the rpm's up. It spent 33 years outside in PA so its has LOTS of rust typical for an old Stang.
