Anyone relic hunt w a F75 LTD using JE mode?

I've got a friend that hunts relics on JE mode and seems to have really good results. Wanted some opinions on using JE for relics. Are there advantages over using the BP mode? What do you all think from your experiences?

The reason I say je. OK I have tried many combinations of sense disc tones and processes etc and I find 95percentbof the time these settings work best in corn fields. Farm fields. Now if you're hunting a field recently turned disced or plowed pf with high sense and minimal disc. Say 4-6 works bestl ok after initial signal I may or may not switch to bp to check target response bp will enhance a deep good signal. Depending on its proximity to iron hunting in bp may mask good targets it can enhance. Iron signals and mask a small good target ( tiny button cufflink us 3cent piece). Small stuff now if you're hunting in the woods where ground cover is thick bp would be the way to go but only in thick ivy tall clumpy grass etc.. If hunting in thick iron nails beds demolished home sites places where most other machines would null or just not reset as fast as the f75 you could run pf de or in some cases je. With high sense 80-85 and 1tone or monotone this will give you an amazing amount of unmasking and lead to some great finds others will miss!!! In most fields disc 4 2f je high sense will do it and is my preference relic mode or setting. Of course I start by going to the all metal side and running sense 90 find the quietest channel then ground balance fast grab is fine! Switch to my disc side and off I go. Here's something interesting. If you're hunting soley bullets 3ringers etc.. Run in motion all metal and check targets with the I'd meter. Some deep bullets will be missed on the disc side even at disc 4 2f tones! I have been hunting in the described ways in many different geographical locations and these methods work for, me. Forgot to say there are times I like three tones as well I never run more than three tones. But I guess it's a matter of preference. Also the more tones the more audio disc!!!!!! The less tones the more unmasking ok my 2cents worth my reasoning and preferred hunting methods. Thank you for reading hope this helps. HH to all. C t just to add If you hunt parks and are mainly a silver hunter Mr Elton hit the nail on the head with his post and settings pf sense 85disc 65 3tones or 4tones. That is some deep silver setting!!!!!!!! Again HH 2014. To all. C t

Interesting. Thank you so much. I haven't tried the JE mode really but I've meet a new hunting partner and that's all he hunts in and does really good. I always use BP mode.
