Anyone tried the SEF or Ultimate Coils on the Vaquero?

Just picked up another Vaquero. I've used the V and put a 12"x10" Wide DD coil on it from Tesoro and was tickled with it. But alas I let it get away from me. But I grabbed another the other day cause I just like Tesoros. It has the stock coil and I'm looking at the same setup I had a couple of years ago but was wondering if anyone has tried the SEF 10"x12" or the 13 Ultimate.

I got it with a detector that came with 2 coils. It works great! I'm just not a large coil kind of guy. I prefer small coils instead.

I have just bought a 10x12 SEF Butterfly call for my Vaquero and posted on it a few weeks ago.

Not on a Vaquero but both on an Explorer . The 12X10 SE was the better coil in my opinion but a bit heavy for my taste .The 13" Ultimate had a little better coverage but the targets didn't seem to hit as hard on it as on the 12x10 .
On a Vaquero that would be hellatiously nose heavy for me . I would expect that one's wrist would feel that very quickly unless they were using a swingy-thingy or something like that .
On a Tesoro I couldn't see myself using anything bigger than the stock 9X8 but then again I'm no spring chicken any more . After messing around with a lot of different detectors and coils over the years It finally sunk into my skull that most all of my better finds were made with medium size coils or smaller .

I'used the 12"x10" Tesoro DD widescan and may well just use that combo. But theres just so many other options today I wanted to see how people are doing. With the Ultimate,NEL,SEF's just want to research other options. It will be hard to beat Tesoros 10x12. But I will check out your past post hombre. Thanks

I have the 13" Ultimate on my Omega so the only thing I can really say is that it hasn't seemed to be any heavier to hunt with than the stock coil, however I haven't used it longer than 2 1/2 hrs so it may feel differently after a much longer hunt.
