Anyone try this coil ?

Has anyone tried the 4.5 x 7 excellerator coil that is offered by Kellyco.

My Sunray coil is back ordered and I am thinking of getting this for trashy areas.

The logical site applications were for trashy conditions and it did well. Very acceptable depth of detection and pinpointing was quite simple.

I have one and works pretty good..Excellent for hvy trash areas, and goes pretty deep for a coil that size.

I posted this on another topic but will do so again because it could be important. While visiting my dealer I mentioned to him that I was using the excelerator coil on my safari, he told me that the electronics in the excelerator could harm my safari. He advised me against using it. I put a lot of trust in this man, he is not only a dealer but a true die hard detector. I quit using mine, you do what you want. Shorty 2

I really don't know but I would think it would, I only have the 8". Mabe someone from minelab could shed some light on this for us.
