Any tips or suggestions for hunting wet and dry sand?
Manual or Auto sensitivity? I'd guess Manual sensitivity. Any tips appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Jim;
The explorer is a great beach machine. Use whatever you need to keep the threshold stable.
the sensitivity often needs to be dialed back.
Even at lower settings It will pick up a coke can 3 feet deep.
if you are hunting the wet sand just be VERY careful
If you get caught unaware by a wave you can quickly ruin your detector.
