If that ain't a bubble in the thin plastic protector that Minelab puts on them for shipping, you need to get that thing replaced! Give Dick a call and he will take care of it, I'm sure. HH Randy
 
Mine has one in the same location. Its a faint bump that I can see and feel, but not as big as yours. Thanks Bob, now I have somthing to worry about.
 
I didn't even notice it until today and can barely see it when looking straight on. I had to use a low angle view and lighting to get it to show in a photo.
 
Certainly an imperfection that should be fixed while under warranty lest its gets worse or causes problems down the line..
 
Hi Bob,

That's where the tail of the keypad decal passes through the plastic faceplate and heads off to connect to the PCB. The tail has a number of electric tracks on it, and isn't the most flexible material! Nothing to worry about really IMO.
