Hi all I was wondering how good was the Aquapulse PI from the UK? I hear that alot of shipwreck hunters use this machine and get good results, how could it compare to the ones on the market. Surfmaster PI, Sea Hunter and Eric Fosters PI machines? I need something for diving and that goes deep to find the gold rings!! I am not too worried about finding junk for that is the process with looking for gold in the ocean. So what is your take on this machine!! Aloha

Aquapulse PI how good compared to all the PI's on the market?? Treasure hunters in Florida uses them alot!!

Hello,
The Auqa pulse is a very good diving detector (Deep). It was designed by Eric Foster and manufactured by another firm. It is optimized to find silver reals and bars. It will find gold, but Mr Foster newer machines do a better job on smaller gold targets. It has a slow response with VCO audio so it not the best beach detector . The control housing is well built and very rugged. It can go in excess of 100ft deep in the water. The only weak point on the detector is the coil and bone phone connectors. We used to have them go bad when they got tugged on and water leaked into the connection. The water then would wick up the cable causing corrosion and eventual failure. For shallow water hunting find something else. For salvage work its one of the best if you take care of it.
