Aquastar picture test

Hi everybody,
I am posting my first picture of some recent Aquastar finds. Pretty much everything is 14K except for the upper left hand ring which is white 10K. Also the lower right hand ring is a platinum 900 wedding band with some 18K on it. There are two pieces of Hawaiian gold in the picture.

Say, do you have beach erosion in Hawaii similar to what we have in Florida where a couple of feet of sand is pulled away at a time? Also, how old is your Aquastar? Have you had any problems with it of any kind? Thanks Chuck

For the most part we do not have beach erosion over here. Since this is a island we do not get the tide swings that you get on the mainland. At best our tides go from + 2.5 feet to a -0.4 feet here on the south shores. I have lived here for three years and have yet to see a storm. Most of the areas that I hunt have a very stable condition. So I hunt very slow and listen for the sound of the faint deep targets or the very small gold items. My best find so far this year is a platinum 900 cross with 10 diamonds for a total of 0.7 carats with a platinum 850 chain worth around $2,500.00.
My Aquastar is the first prototype built by Eric Foster. I received it in June last year. The prototype battery charger failed. Eric redesigned it and I have had no problems with the new battery charger. One loop leaked with in the first couple months of use which Eric replaced. Since then no failures.

Terry,

It's been a long time since I've read your posts from Hawaii, but somewhere I recently saw that you had 3 Aquastars. Any spare coils you would be willing to let go of?

Thanks,

Don
