Like I said in my email to you, it's hard to replace my Expl.II when it found me 19 silver dollars after many hunters had hunted the same corner lot where two silver dollars were found two years pior to my hunt. The SE is a good detector and it will detect any thing my Ex.II will see, but I rarely use the pinpoint on the Ex.II because my hunting grounds are covered with rusted crown caps that are right on top and under the ground and only after i start my dig hole do I use pinpoint on the X-1 probe. I was expecting more than just a better pinpoint mode from the SE, some day when my ExII gives up the ghost I will get an SE or maybe by then the SE2, so my loss will be your gain.
