Aruba Bling

Went to Aruba Thurs. came back Fri. But I had a chance to hit the beach at night. Found my first real ring bling!! Silver with 6 what appear to be diamonds. It rang up a solid unwavering 39 on the Safari. Tone was solid as well. About 4 inches. No happy dance until I got back to my hotel room.
Also found 77 coins. $11.12 34 quarters, 19 dimes, 12 nickels, 12 pennies. Interesting enough 76 of them were US coins. Only 1 coin from someplace else. (Panamanian Quarter)
Thanks for looking,

Coolio. What an awesome vacation! Check the marks on the ring. I don't think they would lay diamonds in silver. Nonetheless brother, way to rock with the safari!

Thanks, I don't have the eyes I use to have. Will have to wait to get home where I can use a magnifying glass.
Could be CZ.

I hope for the best! Maybe it will say, "950 PLAT!"

Hi all,
Just got back from Managua and checked the ring. It says 925. Rocks are probably glass or CZ. Friend looked it over and said they weren't diamonds. Wife still likes it so that's what counts!!
Thanks for looking,
HH

Great find... My only question is, what are you doing in Aruba for less than 24 hours and returning on a Friday??! lol :bouncy:

Good question "the day awaits". I am an airline pilot and was on a 23 hr. layover. You do what ya gotta do!! LOL Will probably start bidding more layovers down in the islands.

Very nice! So you would be the best person to ask about how to take my MD on a plane then - just break it down small, wrap well, stick in luggage and check? Ever hear of any damage happening to anyone who put the control console in checked baggage?

To "thedayawaits"

I am pretty new at this and I just put mine in the cockpit with me. But it does break down pretty well. I put mine in an athletic bag that would fit as carry on luggage while there is plenty of room left for personal items. That would be my advice to you. If you are going to check a bag, make it a large one and wrap the unit with clothes. I think that would work as well.
Good Luck,
Bunker

That seems to be platinum.. To fine a piece of work for glass.... Take it to a jewler and have them check the stones with a diamond checker...

Hey Ed,
Your up early, I'll have someone check it. Thanks for thumbs up.
