Aryca Cases

For those of you who use these cases attached to the stem to waterproof the control box, I am wondering what you use for adhesive to attach them to the stem cover thingy.

Thanks in advance.

The only way to go (as in the best solution)

Super glue ,,,,,, one time shot however so be sure you have the positioning correct and , a little dab will do you.

I used Devcon two part clear epoxy that I used when making knife scales, about $3 at Walmart, it's never coming off, just make sure to scuff it before glueing.

Ok, so if I buy an aryca case for a Samsung S7, what else do I need to buy and what do I need to do to the case to attach it to the detector?
Also which S7? Galaxy, note, or edge???

Actually I bought that size thinking I could use it double duty - phone or remote - and I can but it looks VERY large for the detector. So I think I will buy what I now know (thanks to the discussion below) is the right size......WS13B. You can get them from Amazon but they charge a LOT for shipping. I need to find a better place.

Just be aware that adding the extra weight of a waterproof case to the stem mount can cause it to prematurely fail (clips end up snapping). Already seen a few mounts break here in Australia, hence you may want to keep a couple of spares in your kit just in case.

That's probably because the end cap is not designed to hold that weight. I've posted a $12 solution above and people still talking about gluing end caps, unbelievable.

I cant find a case in my neck of the woods so it makes all the rest of it moot but a good idea.. thanks for the link..

I did mine with about 2 cents worth of glue, my case is only a couple ounces and I will only use it in the water maybe twice a year and pretty much never in the rain, no big.

Have been using one of these aryca cases for about 2 years, I used heavy duty velcro from e-bay, and never had a problem.

Best solution I have seen is use 3M dual lock velcro(Scotch extreme fasteners), both sides have what look like the ends of barbells sticking out. Supposed to be able to hold 10 pounds per inch square. AND the big snap-on part from Russia on ebay.

Use Scotch (3M) dual lock velcro, it is supposed to hold 10 pounds. Both sides have little barbs that look like the end of little dumbbells, both sides are the same, no soft part.
and, the big connector recommended by 'JADOCS' above on Ebay. then use 'ARYCA' case for iPhone4, 4s size.
