AT GOLD: question about ALL METAL vs DISC mode

Hello everyone!

What is the difference between a DISC1 mode with IRON AUDIO on and disc. set to 35 and ALL METAL mode with IRON AUDIO on and disc. set to 35?

What is the real utility of threshold and what is the difference in threshold in ALL METAL mode and in DISCRIMINATION mode? Depth seems not affected from threshold...

All metal is deep seeking mode which penetrates deeper and has only one tone when you hit a target....and continuous audio response while detecting and will give complete target information and
give an audible signal on any metal it scans over.

It seems to me that even DISC1 and DISC2 have continuous and proportional audio, and ALL METAL (with iron audio on) has 2 tones... So when I should use ALL METAL and when DISC1?

And what is the THRESHOLD in DISC mode?

1.. Hunt in ALL METAL only as this setting is most sensitives to small gold and large nugget at depth.

2.. Set up iron audio 's value in ALL METAL according to the patch you detect. ( Some place where nails were used long long time ago then the nails became very porous you then have to dig one and adjust your iron audio's value accordingly )

3... You will use DISC1 mode only if that place is full of trashes and you can not bear the noises of those trashes any longer then go ahead and use DISC 1 mode. But your chances of find small gold and large nugget at depth is reduced .


For the question of THRESHOLD , there is nothing change in any mode you select.
