AT GOLD QUESTION

rtread

New member
I am looking into buying a larger coil for my at gold. Would like any input as to which one is best for land and lakes. The 5x8 doesn't cover enough ground or get enough depth when searching areas that doesn't have a lot of trash. Your input is much appreciated.

If you are hunting freshwater lakes, I suggest the 9 x 12 concentric coil. I have done very well with mine. Good pin-pointing, good depth and good coverage.

Thanks guys for the input. I know the concentric coils on the ace models is dead on when pinpointing. I was wanting a larger coil to go over areas where I have hunted for years with smaller stock coils . Cant wait to see what was out of reach.
