AT-GOLD

I have read on occasion that while the AT Gold is a knock out
on finding gold nuggets (prospecting) it does have some difficulties
in some mineralized ground. I assume the ground must be really
hot to give it trouble.

Anyone using the AT GOLD have information about this?

Thanks
Robert

Robert,

I would go to YouTube or the Garrett website and view the Garrett At Gold videos.

In particular, look at video 2 of 4. Most of that video goes directly to your issue.

Garrett has been designing and building gold nugget detectors for decades. Chris Gholson did a review on his detecting in Arizona. He said it is a "formidable contender". I know they use them in Australia. If you search hard enough you will probably be able to find some ground that a VLF will not work in. In that case you'll need an expensive pulse unit.
