At Last!

Jerry and Bob were supposed to hook up with me today for some detecting but neither could get loose. I went to the first forest preserve that I hunted back in 1995. I have found a lot there over the years. Getting hard to find anything the last couple of years though. I got lucky today. 2 Wheaties, 1935 and 1916D, 1941P Wahington quarter, and a neat metal shirt button which is just about the size of a dime. On the back is the Patent date of Dec.9,1924. On the front at the top is OSHKOSH and on the bottome B'GOSH. Anyone got any info on that. Hope all get out and find some goodies. Jerry and I will hook up tomorrow and try for some oldies.

I still live here.Man, what a job digging that 20 foot ditch,most of it almost 3 ft deep to find the pipe.I lucked out and the iron pipe connected up to a copper one about nine ft from the house.saved me a lot of digging.Im too tired to detect the dirt today,maybe tomorrow)
