After getting wood split this morning, I decided to head out to and old farm field site that hasn't yielded much and certainly no silver. A two hour hunt produced the usual bullets, harness rivets and such. My first interesting signal and it was poor produced the bottom third of a seated dime (1885) bummer, but I will take it. Next I got a nice metal tag that says Chenney #11. next was a poor signal brought to light an 1898 IH. All first for the year. My final good signal produce a mans ring, probably was gold or silver plated at one time.I will try to post pic tomorrow. HH
