at pro international version question

andrew

New member
just curious as to why the international version high tone start setting is where it is at least for Canada
while it might be better for other countries but up here if you hunt by tone first which i do, i am getting pull-tabs where i am used to getting mostly coins, the narrow mid tone means pull-taps are mostly high tone
and yes i do use the dashboard but it checked after the tone sometimes(in water I did everything)

this is becoming a big problem for me,while others maybe not

to old to change my mindset, maybe
any ideas,help would be great

thanks for your time
andrew

Read a while back that the wider mid tone was to the benefit of the european coins
which are found in more of that range.
Also metric depth indication will benefit Canada measurement standards.
I bought the AT PRO for that reason as I like the sound range and like to see the VDI numbers.
I dig the pull tabs as its where I find some of the gold rings.

I by no mean's have ever hunted in Europe but would love to....That would be my dream vacation....( maybe spend a whole summer there.....Yeah Right) but the reason for the narrow mid tone then wide high tone is to alert the searcher to the thin Hammered coin's they will read in the foil range from my understanding so if they are working a field for the elusive 1,000 year old coin's they will ring up more often it that range ....

Just my take...

Keith
