AT PRO on Canadian modern coins

Electric Elvis

New member
Hey all up here in Igloo land ! lol...just a quick note on our Canuck money with the AT....modern canadian coins esp a quarter, may crackle like foil with the high pitch crackling..thats because there is a thin coating of nickel on an iron core!! I have found coins no more than 2 years starting to rust !!! what a drag it will be for future detectorists bypassing decaying rusting coins with their iron disc on !.....also our 2 dollar "twonies" signal like pennies ! i have found with my AT.....so dig em all!!! hope this helps ! ...Elvis

There chainging the metal content
on the loonie that will make it even worst:thumbdown:

I know...our modern money is crap.
