AT Pro Video Part 4

I'm would guess that most AT Pro users have seen Brent Weavers great Videos (AT Pro parts 3,4 & 5). And a big thank you to him and Garret for putting those videos on.

I have watched them several times and there is a part in the beginning of Part 4 that I am having trouble replicating.

He sets the discrimination to 17, and has Iron Audio on. He passes a nickle (nickle sounds), then he passes a nail (nail sounds). Then he passes the nickle on top of the nail, and gets a nickle sound.

My machine give a sound that represents both the nickle and the nail. Kind of like a bottle cap with Iron audio on.

Has anyone tried this out and gets the same thing as Mr Weavers' AT P?

I cranked my discrimination to 35 and still get the low-high-low sound. I thought that what it was suppose to do, but his gives a clean sound with the nickle and the rusted nail! and he is only at 17 on disc.

With Iron Audio off, I get the coin roll sound.
I cannot figure out how he gets just the nickle sound, with the nickle and the nail.
