AT PRO

Is this one a glorified Ace 250? Does anyone know if the Ace 250 coils will inter-change with the AT PRO? Guessing the connectors are different? And maybe frequencies but just thought I'd ask you users these questions. Most of us have tried every detector on the market. They all have pros and cons, I have one coming Tuesday from one of our sponcers and was curious what some of you could relate about this AT PRO. Thanks KCK

You can read many posts about the AT Pro.

No the coils are not interchangeable.

Everyone likes something different about their detector. Regardless of brand. What I like about the AT Pro:
It sees between the iron very very well. You can take it to many hunted out spots. Take your time with the swing and listen as it pulls targets from the iron mask.

#1) It has the standard mode, similar to the ACE 250 with the bell tone, but better depth

#2) It has great depth (meets and beats some detectors costing 2 x as much) has great target separation, great audio characteristics

#3) It is water proof to 10 feet. Keep hunting in the rain, snow, hail and water. Take up water hunting if you like, opens up a whole new spectrum of hunting. :)

Has anyone found gold nuggets UNDER THE DIRT with the AT Pro if so what size and what depth
I will be grateful for all input
Thanks Joe

I guess if the Ace 250 had a numeric read out, ground balance, 40 points of iron discrimination, water and dust proof, iron audio and ran at 15 kHz it would be the same. I don't think they are even close...... You will like the ATpro.

Here is an example of one difference between the Ace 250 and the At Pro. I have the At Pro and my wife uses the 250. She knows how to use it and does very well. This afternoon she called me over to check a target that she could not decide on digging or not. She thought that it might be a quarter but the ID was jumping all over and would not lock on to anything. I checked it with the At Pro and got a solid high tone with a steady 87 VDI each direction. I could hear iron signals also but there was no mistaking the quarter signal. She did dig it and it was a quarter.

The Ace 250 is a very good detector but the At Pro deals with trash like iron much better. Hope this helps.

Jerry
