VERY interested in what you and others have to say about this...I'm looking pretty hard at putting the NEL Attack on my pro. for beach sweeping and water work this summer...figuring payback and weight/balance and all..

I tried the Attack on my Pro and had to send it back. I could not get it to settle down. I was dealing directly with Ukraine and it was a chore. Maybe the new rep is better able to handle problems and returns. Also, maybe they refined it better by now. It was a lot better on side by side air tests.

I am using the Attack in Myrtle Beach. Inconsistent ground balancing. Sometimes it balances just like the stock coil, other times it fights back and
takes repetitive tries.

I have the best success dropping sensitivity to 3 bars and going real smooth and slow when pumping the coil.

The I run it at the 4th bar from max. My normal setup is 3 bars below.

I had no issues in the water or on dry sand. Just wish I could find a target!

I did dig half a pop tab a 10". It picks my my scoop over 2' away so I have to pay attention to how I carry it.

It is very heavy and you will need one of the buddies or other setup. I also have ordered a straight shaft to save on my wrist.

It covers a lot of ground with every sweep.

I went to a baseball field that I went over with the 6x8 and I am getting targets everywhere, mostly 6" to 8" deep pennies.

Thanks tcornel, and Johnho! I run my stock AtP coil at 3 or 4 bars below full sens all the time...if I dont, it falses on the little sand ripples in the bottom...thats swinging fast though,...I just dont know, I cant take too much weight, maybe I should just stick with whats working for me? The last thing a guy needs is more pain.:sadwalk:

I thinks the good ole boys at Garrett Labs put out a grate coil and if they needed another coil they would have it out there for us to use. This BS has been going on for years now and I think it would be pretty rare if an after market coil beat a Garrett coil.

Just my two cents

Well Jim...........sorry but you are wrong. The big coil covers so much ground per swing and it will go deeper, especially in regular ground.

Garrett makes excellent products and has the best service in the industry.

Producing another coil is probably more a business decision rather than one of does it do a certain thing better. If the market is too
small then that niche is left to after market businesses. The same is true in auto parts, golf clubs, computer software and just about
everything else.

If enough of the big coils are sold then Garrett will probably enter the market.

Of course it does not matter what coil you have on your machine if you are not over a target.
