Yesterday,I took my M/C out for a ride,to be greeted with a LOUD not normal noise comin out of her-Turns out the chain and sprockets are needing a change, they are wore out(Dontcha just LOVE modern transportation?Needs attention usually at the worst times:shrug:)-Called the shop that does the work on it;gonna cost me about $250.00-The amount I had ear-marked for the forum hunt....)SO:Im loadin her up this morning, and takin her in.I DONT DARE ride her the way she is;Ive heard stories of some people ridin with worn out chain/sprockets,and they failed and locked up the rear wheel-Which after hittin a deer last year on this M/C and coming out OK;makes me think Im NOT gonna push my luck on this.........

Sorry to hear the new Steve. Best to get it fixed. It is a shame I had to give up my motorcycle or we probably could have had some fun on them. Being on blood thinners and riding a motorcycle are not a good combination and when a choice has to be made for one or the other...well so long motorcycle. Any accident with it could have me bleeding to death before help could arrive.

I would not one of my friends here getting harmed especially in a motorcycle accident. Doing the right thing Steve...just like you said though seems like bad timing..but it was God's timing I think you had the money set aside. Thank God you found the problem before the problem got worse.

Sorry about the motorcycle, steve, but better to be safe than sorry in having something not dangerous to ride! Take care and God will supply your needs....like the saving of money which now is needed to repair the M/C. God is good and knows when anything and everything will happen in our lives and by listening to Him we shall be prepared for whatever happens in the trials and circunstances we face! May God Bless! Amen  Ma Betty
