Just watched ,.a video by Nuggetnogin he was at DIV a couple weeks ago any how he introduced this 11x13 dd coil , it had no label but was Garrett green and he never mentioned if it was a Garrett product I had heard Garrett was coming out with some new ATX could anyone know the scoop if availed from who Thanks

Looks great for dirt diggers, but...in the ocean, I see it flipping up and down even with the connection in the center of the coil. As for performance, a side by side comparison is needed. I did not see any target that the standard coil would not have detected.
I'll just have to stay with the standard open coil with the open coil cover. If I could only move the cable connection to the center... When it comes down to locating targets...it just does not matter, I'll swing the ATX over any other of my 11 detector, at least here in the salt waters of New England. The only advantage of the rear mounting that I can see is to obtain the smallest footprint when collapsing the ATX for travel, it make for a 5 inch or so shorter package. Size does matter!
